Just a few feet from Philadelphia's venerable City Hall is The Ritz-Carlton Philadelphia which occupies the former Girard Trust Bank, a Frank Furness-designed building which was inspired by the Pantheon in Rome. The luxurious marble lobby, home to Richard Sandoval's Aqimero restaurant, is truly the crown jewel of this hotel. We especially love the sushi and ceviche bar that Aqimero offers. The Ritz-Carlton is one of our favorite places in Philadelphia to grab coffee, even if we're not staying in one of its newly renovated rooms. Each Ritz-Carlton room has contemporary yet timeless furnishings, making our stay feel refined yet comfortable. Guests who opt for a Club Level pass will even enjoy a dedicated concierge and unlimited food throughout the day. During our holiday visit we shopped at the Saks Fifth Avenue pop-up store and scored a few gifts for ourselves and friends. When looking for a taste of luxury, class and ease in the city of brotherly love, The Ritz-Carlton offers that and more.
